Habitat: coniferous woodland, plantations, small clumps of trees in moorland and farmland.
Description: long ear tufts, bright orange eyes; buff back, mottled with brown; buff breast, streaked with brown.
Size: 34 - 37cm.
Food: voles, mice and small birds.
